Southridge High School: The 2011 season begins Brooke's eighth year as the head coach at Southridge High School. Four players were selected to 2010 All-Metro teams: Sydney Saunders, 3rd Team All-Around; Kelli Derrah, 3rd Team All-Around; Madi Lynn, 3rd Team DS/Libero; Erin Stuhldreher, 3rd Team Setter.

Coaching Experience: Brooke is the Club Director for Club Ridge Volleyball which she started in 2011. The Club Ridge VB 16 GOLD team finished in the top 24 of CEVA Power League. Brooke was named the Metro League Coach of the Year in 2006 and 2007. She coached the 14&U team for Asics Athena Volleyball Academy (7 years). In 2010, the Asics Athena 14 Alpha team finished in the top 16 team in CEVA Power League. Past club coaching experience includes 14&U Smokey Mountain Juniors team (2003), 16&U Canby Club team (2002) and 18 & Under Forest Grove Club Volleyball team (1996). In 2002, Brooke was the Head Coach at Aloha High School. The team finished second in the Metro League and competed in the 4A Oregon State tournament. Aloha finished 10th in State. Brooke coached at Milwaukie High School from 1999 to 2001 and was named the Three Rivers League 2001 Coach of the Year.

Camps Experience: Brooke is the camp director of the Southridge Volleyball Summer Camps. She ran summer camps at Aloha HS and Milwaukie HS, coached at the University of Tennessee Summer Camps (2003-2004) and Pacific University Summer Camps (1994-1997).

Playing Experience: Brooke received athletic and academic scholarships to Pacific University where she played four years as middle blocker and outside hitter. She received All-Conference honors all four years. In high school (1992), Brooke played at Central Catholic High School . . . the team claimed 2nd place in the 4A Oregon State Tournament. She was selected to the 1992 Oregon State All-Star team. She also played for the Rose City Volleyball Club.

Personal: Brooke teaches Biology and IB Biology at Southridge High School. She continues to play volleyball in Adult CEVA tournaments with Team Limo.com. Brooke volunteers on the Board of Directors for Columbia Empire Volleyball Association. When Brooke's not coaching volleyball, she teaches aerobics classes at Bally Total Fitness and can often be found at the local dog parks with Dash and Dot.

Coaching Experience: 2010 was Kyla's first year as the Varsity Assistant Coach for the Skyhawks. She had previously been the Volunteer Varsity Assistant Coach in 2006. Her previous Varsity coaching experience was two seasons with Haslett High school in Haslett, MI. She has coached 15 &U for Athena Volleyball Academy as well as 14&U in Michigan for the Lansing Volleyball Club. She has also coached at various University summer camps across the nation.

Playing Experience: Kyla received and athletic scholarship to Michigan State University where she played four years as an outside and right side hitter. Her senior year, she was ranked top 20 nationally for digs per game and helped lead the team to a Sweet 16 finish in the NCAA tournament. She played varsity four years for Highland High school receiving Provincial 1st team recognition and played club volleyball for the Powell River Aces, who finished 2nd at nationals her senior year. She also played for the Canadian Jr. National team at the NORCECA world qualifiers.

Personal: Kyla was born and raised in Victoria, B.C. Canada. She and her husband Nate met while in college at Michigan State University. She continues to play volleyball in Adult CEVA tournaments with team Limo.com.

Coaching Experience: In 2011, Chris will begin her eighth year as the JV coach at Southridge High School. She is the co-director of the Southridge Volleyball Camps. Chris coached for the Athena Volleyball Academy for six years.

Playing Experience: Chris received an academic scholarships to Pacific University where she played four years as a setter. She received All-Conference honors her freshman and junior year in college. In high school, Chris played at Canby High School and received First Team All-Pac8 her senior year. She also played for the Canby Volleyball Club.

Personal: Chris teaches math at Southridge High School and coaches Track & Field. Chris, and her husband Dan, are expecting their first child at the end of October. Hobbies include working on her family farm and baking yummy crepes.

Coaching Experience: In 2011, Emily will begin her seventh year as a coach at Southridge High School. In 2003, she coached at the Milwaukie High School middle school camp.

Playing Experience: Emily played varsity volleyball for three years at Milwaukie High School. She was also on the golf team at Milwaukie. Emily played for the Canby Volleyball Club under Coach Brooke Mayo. The team finished first place in their division at the Davis, CA Volleyball Festival.

Personal: Emily teaches at Stoller Middle School. Her hobbies include shopping and knitting.

Coaching Experience: In 2011, Krissy will begin her fourth year as a coach at Southridge High School. She is the 14 BLACK coach for Club Ridge Volleyball. She coached for Asics Athena Volleyball Academy and coached for Storm'n West Volleyball Club in Eugene for 3 years.

Playing Experience: Krissy played volleyball at Lane Community College and Northwest Christian College. She graduated from Southridge High School in 2003 where she played volleyball for 4 years.

Personal: Krissy works at Columbia Empire Farms in the accouting department. In her free time Krissy enjoys spending time with her dog, Vegas. Hobbies include hiking, camping, and swimming.
